Executive Chef & Co-FounderKnown affectionately as Chef Tater, she is the culinary force behind Tater’s Lowcountry Kitchen. Rooted in the flavors and food traditions of the Lowcountry, she brings a deep respect for Gullah Geechee cuisine, fresh seafood, and the dishes that have long brought families together around the table.
As Executive Chef and Co-Founder, Chef Tater leads the kitchen, develops the menus, and brings Tater’s signature flavor to everything from everyday favorites to catered celebrations and special events.
Laurin Legare
Managing Partner & Co-FounderLaurin Legare is the business and creative force behind Tater’s Lowcountry Kitchen, overseeing the strategy, operations, marketing, partnerships, and guest experience that continue to grow the brand.
As Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Laurin brings together thoughtful systems, strong storytelling, and an eye for detail to shape how Tater’s shows up both inside and beyond the kitchen. Her work has helped expand Tater’s from a restaurant concept into a growing hospitality brand rooted in exceptional food, intentional service, and Lowcountry culture.
